History

DyMedisys was formed out of the energy, momentum and enthusiasm of the very first gathering of the eHealthcareWorld conference in November of 1998 in Chicago. Amidst the buzz, enthusiasm and potential, DyMedisys was organized from a diverse healthcare background. Our experience spans the healthcare continuum from Acute Care Hospitals, Long Term Care as well as Outpatient Clinics. Our founders brought with them a history of success from within every niche of the healthcare vertical. Our good fortune was achieved by providing the highest level of service and support.

A year after our inception we signed a contract with a Silicon Valley based, Venture Capital funded, startup named iMedica. The CEO of iMedica, Dr. Charlie Koo, had obtained his PhD in process engineering from the prestigious Stanford University and was an expert in automation and processes. Under the agreement, it was the responsibility of DyMedisys to deploy 18 sales representatives into 18 Metropolitan areas within six months. These individuals had to have a strong knowledge of healthcare and be trained and able to sell a software product into a difficult market that was still in its infancy. We accomplished this goal and a press release went out over the business wire detailing the agreement between DyMedisys and iMedica. This release would later bring the attention of larger companies like Johnson & Johnson and PDI. It was through the experiences and the knowledge we gained from iMedica that shaped our organization into what it is today. We were founded on the principles of a strong sales force and more importantly a knowledgeable and hard working support team behind it. These are the fundamentals that we have built our organization on and this formula has always proven successful.

With the knowledge and experience we gained we set out to find a software developer that matched our objectives and found one of the leading companies in the Electronic Medical Records market. We were fortunate to attract a company that is widely regarded as a top five product in a field of over 250 companies. Our partnership with e-MDs has been a terrific one and together e-MDs and DyMedisys are in a great position to be the number one solution provider.
