DyMedisys is Jeff Robertson’s second healthcare effort in the last 10 years. He started his first company, Dynamic Medical Systems, Inc. in 1995. After a period of five years and 50 employees later, Dynamic had successfully become the largest therapy equipment provider in the Long Term Care arena for the state of California and one of the top three regional companies in the country. They surpassed hundreds of competitors to emerge as a leader in the industry and at the same time hold the number one position in market share. On the heels of his success with Dynamic Medical Systems, Inc., and after having successfully sold that organization, he set out to make his entry into healthcare informatics. He formed DyMedisys in November of 1998 as a way to diversify his existing business. With the help of his mentor, a PhD in Process Engineering from Stanford University, he began to see the vision of an efficient and effective Electronic Medical Record and the role it could play in the outpatient physician’s office. It was under the guiding hand and vision of Dr. Koo that EMR became his passion, future and focus.
With DyMedisys he plans to channel their efforts on the growing potential for Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in outpatient offices and clinics over the coming years. He feels the adoption of EMR will skyrocket in the next five years. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in finance and a second-generation healthcare professional.
